Our Team - Eric Friedrichs


President and Owner

Cortron’s President received his Bachelors in Business Management from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Eric initially started with the company in 1989 as a sales associate and in 2005 became President and owner of the company. During the 1970s and 1980s Cortron manufactured primarily commercial computer keyboard products. In the early 1990s when Cortron had only 13 employees, Eric helped transform the company and its products to support demanding industrial and military applications. Today with approximately 50 employees, the company supports over 3,000 different product configurations, is AS9100C certified, and is an approved supplier to virtually every major US defense contractor.

Our Team - Roy Foster


Director of Operations

Roy was hired in May of 2004. He has a BSEE from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, MSEE from Northeastern, and an MSEM from the Gordon Institute of Tufts University. He brings 30 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing, working in the semiconductor, medical, and machine vision industries. At Cortron, he is responsible for the day to day operation of the engineering, quality control, and manufacturing functions.

Our Team - Paul Maier


Engineering Manager

Cortron’s Engineering Manager received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Masters of Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Paul has managed Cortron’s Engineering team for nine years, and has played a key role in many of Cortron’s technology developments. With nearly thirty years’ experience, he has a strong technical background with program and team leadership experience across a variety of product development programs. His industry experience in aerospace, defense, building security, and data storage includes work at EMC, United Technologies, and Simplex (now called Tyco). With 15 US patents to his credit, Paul brings a broad range of technical expertise to support Cortron’s engineering team in solving customer problems and developing innovative solutions. He is committed to ensuring that Cortron’s engineering team brings its best to our customers.

Our Team - Jon Koeller


Sales / Project Manager

Jon joined Cortron in 2005 after over 13 years serving OEM and direct customers in the industrial process control industry.
At Cortron he is responsible for inside sales, outside sales and project / program management as well as being a technical focal point for customers. Jon has worked with customers to develop products ranging from simple product modifications for specific customer application requirements, form-fit-functional legacy product replacement of obsolete competitive products and clean-sheet new product development. Jon looks forward to working with you to develop a Cortron solution for your particular product and technology Human Machine Interface (HMI) requirements.
